Service at Connecticut Foodshare

A group of 10 St. Peter’s youth (12 years of age and older) and parents will sort food at the Wallingford facility of Connecticut Foodshare. Teens can bring a friend!

Volunteers will inspect and sort food items. 

CLOSED TOE SHOES ARE MANDATORY. Every volunteer must wear sturdy, comfortable closed-toe shoes. Gloves will be provided.   Children ages 12-15 must volunteer with an adult/guardian; ages 16 and over can come on their own.

Event will be from 5:00 – 7:00 pm – carpool from St. Peter’s to Wallingford will leave at 4:30. 

A permission slip will need to be completed and can be found here – please print and sign and bring with you!
