DESCRIPTION: Saint Peter’s Church seeks to develop the spirituality of our children and youth through learning about faith, the Bible, service to the community, fellowship and caring for the earth. Children and youth learn they are loved by God unconditionally, that they are the heirs to a rich tradition of faith as followers of Christ. We provide a welcoming, creative, and nurturing environment for children, youth and their families. In our Christian formation programs, children are engaged in age-appropriate, enriching and fun curriculums that teach the lessons and stories of the Christian tradition in a relatable manner.
- Children’s Worship teaches our children, grades 1-6, the content of our church services including engaging lessons and activities to help them understand how to implement God’s Word in their everyday lives. Children’s Worship starts at 9:45 am. Some of the goals we have for Children’s Worship are for the children to understand the scriptures and to learn to apply them in their daily lives and to feel comfortable with the structure of the church service when they are in the main sanctuary with their parents. Children join their families in the Church Service at 10:30 am.
- Our Godly Play (ages 3 & 4 years old through kindergarten) teaches helps our younger children learn the Bible stories through a story, craft, and various activities. Children join their families in the Church Service at 10:30 am.
- Nursery – our youngest children – young 3’s and under, are cared for in our nursery every Sunday from 9 am-11 am.
