Annual Meeting and Election of Leaders

Dear Friends,
Notice is hereby given that the 263rd Annual Parish Meeting of St. Peter’s Church, Cheshire, CT will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024, at 10:15 am in the Parish Hall.
We will have one worship service – a Rite II Morning Prayer Children’s Service at 9 am. We will then gather in the parish hall for coffee and “goodies”, and then begin the annual meeting promptly at 10:15 am.
The Annual Meeting provides an opportunity for all members of the congregation to receive reports about our parish life and programs and to elect parish officers and members of the Vestry.
In the Resources section on right you will find:
- A list of Responsibilities and Guidelines for Elected Officers.
- A document with a complete list of offices to be filled
- A nomination form for nominations from members*
- A list of Members Entitled to Vote.
Please review the Members Entitled to Vote list to make sure that your name is included. If your name has been inadvertently omitted, please contact the Parish Administrator by email at office@stpeterscheshire.org or phone at 203-272-4041.
I hope that all who consider St. Peter’s their spiritual home will attend this important meeting. We have much to celebrate and much to look forward to in the future.

When submitting nominations, please note the following considerations:
a. Only persons whose names are on the list of voting members are eligible for nomination.
b. Nomination forms must be completed and returned to the parish office on or before Friday, January 19, 2024.

Keeping Everyone Healthy and Safe at St. Peter's
Wearing masks during worship services is optional for all. There is a designated mask-wearing quadrant in the sanctuary for those who want to continue to wear masks.
Masks are optional in all other areas of the building and campus, except the parish office where masks are required.
