Annual Meeting and Election of Leaders

Dear Friends,
Notice is hereby given that the 261st Annual Parish Meeting of St. Peter’s Church, Cheshire, CT will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at 11 am via Zoom. Link to attend meeting.

There will be an in-person Rite I Eucharist at 8 am and a Spiritual Communion Service at 10 am to allow full participation in the annual meeting at 11 am.

The Annual Meeting provides an opportunity for all members of the congregation to receive reports about our parish life and programs and to elect parish officers and members of the Vestry.

In Resources section on right you will find:

  1. A list of Responsibilities and Guidelines for Elected Officers.
  2. A document with a complete list of offices to be filled
  3. A nomination form for nominations from members*
  4. A list of Members Entitled to Vote.

Please review the Members Entitled to Vote list to make sure that your name is included. If your name has been inadvertently omitted, please contact the Parish Administrator by email at or phone at 203-272-4041.

I hope that all who consider St. Peter’s their spiritual home will attend this important meeting. We have much to celebrate and much to look forward to in the future.

*When submitting nominations, please note the following considerations:
a. Only persons whose names are on the list of voting members are eligible for nomination.
b. Nomination forms must be completed and returned to the parish office on or before Sunday, January 24, 2020.

8 am Holy Communion Rite I
in the Sanctuary

10 am Holy Communion Rite II
in the Sanctuary and via Zoom

St. Peter's is offering in-person worship
in our renewed sanctuary, while maintaining virtual access via Zoom.
Most meetings are currently offered both in-person and via Zoom. Use of the church building continues to be limited for most activities other than worship. St. Peter's asks everyone to wear a mask and maintain social distancing when inside the building.
