The Saint Peter's Garden located in Cheshire, CT is both lovely and restful. With a wooden bench and a path through it, the garden includes plants mentioned in the Bible. Maintained by a loyal parishioner and her industrious and exceptional sons and husband (and grandparents) the ever changing garden is a delight for the members of Saint Peters.
In the download below there is a photosynth, which is a sort of panorama of the garden. Click on "Garden Panorama," read the "Photosynth Tips" in the small box, then close the box and tour the garden. While you are moving the arrows both back and forwards, keep your eyes open for the black-eyed susan. Click it twice for a rare closeup. It may have been the first one this year!
The photos were taken by Ana Arellano, St. Peter's Church, Cheshire, CT on the eve of Independence Day 2010, lighting provided by the slanting rays of the afternoon sun.
Photosynth may not be viewable using the Mac OS system. Because of that, we will have a garden slideshow as well.
