Godly Play
Godly Play is the church school class for children aged three, if they have preschool experience, through first grade. Godly Play is a Montessori-based method of teaching Old Testament stories, parables, and liturgical lessons.
Developed by an Episcopal priest, it allows for the children to hear the story, told with figures and props, respond to the story with arts and crafts, and have their own “feast” or snack. We provide a warm and caring environment for the children to explore their own faith and develop a faith language.
The program is taught by two teams of two teachers who rotate monthly. Godly Play meets upstairs in the education wing in the middle of the hall, across from the bathroom, every week from 9:30-10:15.
