2017-18 Stewardship Pledge Campaign

We come to you every year to ask you to pledge to underwrite St. Peter’s annual budget – the cost of our work in the world.

What is the Work?
Worship, pastoral care, learning, growing in faith, serving our community, celebrating God’s boundless love.

The Cost

Our pledges fund the work we do at St. Peter’s.

What is a pledge?

A pledge is your statement of financial intent for the coming year. Your pledge amount may be changed, increased or decreased during the year, at any time if your financial circumstances change.

Who pledges at St. Peter’s?
We are blessed to have a very active and generous membership. Not everyone can pledge equally, but all can contribute as they are able.

In 2017, 40% of our pledged income comes from 10% of our membership. We need to do better at sharing the costs.

And we can. If we each increase our pledge by 5-10%, we will begin to make a difference in sharing costs.

Proportional pledging

Please prayerfully consider what level of pledging is right for you and your family. One approach is to think about your pledge as a percentage of your annual income — with the audacious goal of tithing (10%).
