Children & Youth

Nursery Care is available for children three and under who have not yet had experience with preschool. The nursery is open every Sunday during the church school year, from 9 -11 am.  We have lots of toys and books and safe, happy fun!  The nursery is upstairs in the education wing, at the far end of the hall. You must sign your children in; they will be brought down to the worship service following the Prayers of the People.

Children’s Programs

We seek to develop the spirituality of our children by learning about faith, the Bible, service to the community, fellowship and caring for the earth. Children learn that they are loved by God unconditionally, and that they are heirs of a rich tradition of faith as followers of Christ. We strive to provide a welcoming, creative, and nurturing environment for children and youth and their families. Throughout the year, we plan fun family activities, youth outings, intergenerational events and parish wide opportunities to enjoy together.

Youth Programs

We have three separate education programs for kids and young adults: Rite 13 (Grades 7 and 8); Journey to Adulthood (Grades 9 and 10) and Young Adults in Church (Grades 11 and 12). We explore individual and community faith in an age-appropriate way.  Our Young Adults in Church (YAC) program continues our youth’s engagement with the parish community as they mentor the younger youth, plan outreach activities in the community, and participate in parish ministries. One member of this group serves on the vestry.
